Day 2 - Sightseeing in beautiful B.A.Buenos Aires and its residents are a fascinating mosaic, with Italian, German, French and Spanish influences reflected in the culture, cuisine and architecture of this delightful city. Today’s tour explores this rich heritage; see the grand façade of the historic Teatro Colon, one of the world’s premier opera houses, and drive through the Plaza de Mayo, a vibrant hub of the city. Continue to La Boca, the district where the Tango originated, and then down Avenida 9 de Julio to the Obelisk – symbol of Buenos Aires. Tonight, a 1-hour Tango lesson is followed by dinner and a professional Tango show. Meals B,D
Day 3 - Gaucho FiestaTravel through the Argentine pampas to the sprawling Estancia Santa Susana. Enjoy a barbecue lunch of ranch-raised beef – asado criollo – and wonderful local wine, followed by a show of Argentine folk dances and music.
