Day 1 - Santiago, Chile
Check-in to your deluxe hotel in the heart of the city. Your afternoon sightseeing includes the neoclassical La Moneda Palace, Forestal Park and Bellavista, the bohemian quarter of Santiago. Ascend San Cristobal Hill for unsurpassed views and return to your hotel for a welcome dinner. Meals D Radisson Day 2 - Wine Country Excursion Journey by rail through the scenic Colchagua Valley to the Viña Bisquertt Winery for a tour of the grounds. Then visit Viña Viu Manet, a family-owned winery, and the Colchagua Museum, renowned for its fine collection of pre-Colombian art. Overnight at a charming first class hotel in the Valley. Meals B,L Hotel Santa Cruz Day 3 - Santiago / Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas Return to Santiago and fly to Puerto Montt. Visit Angelmó Cove and wander through the lively fish market with its wonderful family-run lunch stands and small restaurants. It’s also a great place to buy local crafts like sweaters, jewelry and copper. Then journey to Puerto Varas on beautiful Llanquihue Lake and check-in to your hotel overlooking this immense lake. Meals B Cabañas del Lago Day 4 - Puerto Varas / Bariloche / Llao Llao Resort This amazing day is spent on a dramatic crossing of the Andes from Chile to Argentina through a stunning landscape of emerald lakes and snow-capped volcanoes. Disembark in Puerto Pañuelo and arrive at your deluxe, world-famous lodge. Meals B Llao-Llao Resort Day 5 - Nahuel Huapi National Park Journey along the southern lakeshore to Nahuel Huapi National Park and ascend by chair lift for a spectacular 360° scenic view. Meals B Day 6 - Bariloche / Buenos Aires Fly to the Buenos Aires and transfer to your deluxe hotel in the elegant Recoleta district, popular with residents for its galleries and antique shops. The rest of the day is free to explore this delightful neighborhood at your own pace. Meals B Sofitel Day 7 - Buenos Aires Your sightseeing includes the Teatro Colon, one of the world’s premier opera houses, and the Plaza de Mayo, the vibrant hub of the city. Continue to La Boca, where the tango originated, and then along Avenida 9 de Julio, known as the world’s widest boulevard. Later this evening, we’ll take you to one of our favorite nightclubs for dinner and a show of authentic Argentine tango. Meals B,D Day 8 - FreeStyle Day in Buenos Aires Customize your vacation with one of our fine included excursions: •Gaucho Fiesta : Journey into the pampas to a charming estancia for an Argentine barbecue. •Colonia del Sacramento #WHS# Cross by hydrofoil to Uruguay and discover this historic city with its rich Dutch and Portuguese heritage. Meals B,L Day 9 - Buenos Aires / Iguassu Fly to Iguassu#WHS# and transfer to your deluxe hotel. Then embark on your in-depth exploration of these 275 magnificent cascades, spanning close to 2 miles in lush subtropical jungle. You’ll visit all the best vantage points on the Argentine side and then board a boat to see the falls from below! Meals B Sheraton Iguassu Day 10 - Iguassu Cross the border this morning to view the falls from the Brazilian side. Your afternoon is free to relax, or venture forth again to explore the trails at your own pace.
