Located within walking distance of the Cuzco Main Square, this fine boutique hotel is actually a converted old colonial house from the 18th century. It has 72 rooms (with oxygen upon request), large courtyards, gourmet restaurant and bar, and available WI-FI wireless high-speed Internet access.

Wayra Lodge

Visit the Palamino Islands and swim with the sea lions. Explore the city’s fine Colonial-era architecture and visit the San Francisco Church and the famed Larco Herrera Museum. Meals B

Day 3 - Lima / Cuzco#WHS#
Fly to Cuzco where the next 2 days of touring will prepare you for the pace and altitude of your upcoming trek. Today’s city sightseeing ends with a hike from the spectacular hilltop Inca site of Sacsayhuaman back to your deluxe hotel in the heart of town. Meals B

Day 4 - Cuzco / Sacred Valley
Journey into the lovely Sacred Valley for a full-day hiking tour to renowned Inca sites, including Moray and Maras. Overnight at a deluxe lodge nestled here in the valley. Meals B,L

Day 5 - Sacred Valley / Soraypampa Valley
Visit the Inca ruins of Tarawasi en route to the Andean village of Mollepata. Continue by vehicle or embark on a mild 4-hour trek along the Camino Real (Royal Path) to your deluxe lodge in the Soraypampa Valley under the watchful gaze of a sacred Inca peak, the 20,500-foot Salkantay. An evening fireside briefing is followed by a welcome aperitif and dinner. Meals B,L,D

Day 6 - Soraypampa
Continue your acclimatization to the altitude. Explore close-by, or join a half-day high-mountain trek to a glacial lake. This evening, your guide will conduct an in-depth briefing on the gear and itinerary for the following days’ hikes. Meals B,L,D

Day 7 - Soraypampa / Huayraccmachay
Hike up the Rio Blanco Valley and enjoy vistas of the snow-capped Vilcabamba Range from a mountain pass at 15,000 feet, the highest point of the day’s trek. Enjoy a hot lunch en route and a hearty dinner at your mountain lodge. Meals B,L,D
4 to 6 hours of hiking. Wayra Lodge (12,000 ft. elev.)

Day 8 - Huayraccmachay / Collpapampa
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then trek downhill through increasingly lush bio-zones to your tranquil lodge, set on an open promontory at the confluence of three pristine rivers. Meals B,L,D

Day 9 - Collpapampa / Lucmabamba
Hike down the Santa Teresa River Valley through rural areas of coffee and banana plantations. After lunch, a half-hour uphill trek on the Llactapata Inca Trail brings you to your lodge. Meals B,L,D
4 to 6 hours of hiking. Lucma Lodge (6,600 ft. elev.)

Day 10 - Lucmabamba / Aguas Calientes
A 2-hour uphill trek on the Inca Trail to the 8,500-foot Llactapata Pass is rewarded with rare views of Machu Picchu#WHS# from the southwest. Hike down through bamboo groves to your hotel in Aguas Calientes. Meals B,L,D.
4 to 6 hours of hiking. Inkaterra Peublo Hotel (6,600 ft. elev.)

Day 11 - Machu Picchu / Cuzco
Explore the legendary ruins of Machu Picchu with your expert guide. Return to Cuzco aboard the Vistadome Train and transfer to your deluxe boutique hotel in the heart of town. Meals B,L
