Day 1 - Lima #WHS#, Peru
Check-in to your first class hotel, ideally located in the vibrant Miraflores district. Hotel Jose Antonio

Day 2 - Lima / Cuzco
Fly to Cuzco #WHS#and transfer to your comfortable hotel, ideally located close to the historic town center. In the afternoon, begin a spiritual journey as our guide prepares you for a tour of this ancient capital. Visit the Temple of the Sun, an ancient Incan religious center, where the essence of Pachamama (Mother Nature) comes alive. Continue to Sacsayhuaman, believed to have been an astronomical observatory. The day comes to a close with a harmonization ceremony at the Temple of the Moon. Day 3 - A FreeStyle Day in Sacred Valley
Drive into the beautiful Sacred Valley and settle-in to your first-class resort hotel, set on the grounds of a Spanish colonial monastery. Tailor your stay with the prepaid excursion of your choice:

• Mountain Biking: Along the Urubamba River
• Walking Tour to Moray: Explore these ancient Incan agricultural terraces.
• The Salt Pools of Maras: Learn about centuries-old salt extraction as you hike along the salt pools.

Day 4 - Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu #WHS#
Journey on the Vistadome train through panoramas of Indian villages, terraced fields and snow-capped Andean peaks. At Machu Picchu, our insightful guide will bring the citadel ruins to life- with illuminating details of history and culture. An Andean ceremony provides insight into this rich culture: Inside the ruins of Machu Picchu, give thanks to Pachacamac (the maker), Apus (the mountain) and Pachamama (Mother Nature). Day 5 - Machu Picchu / Cuzco

Day 6 - Cuzco
A free day to enjoy as you wish. Your hotel’s prime in-town location makes it easy to step out and explore the fine Colonial architecture of the historic Plaza de Armas, now home to inviting restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. Meals B

Day 7 - Cuzco / Posada Amazonas
Fly to Puerto Maldonado for a 2-hour journey up the Tambopata River to Posada Amazonas, a 24-room, world-renowned eco-lodge co-owned by the indigenous Ese’eja community. An ethno-botanical tour with your Ese’eja guide along the forest trails illuminates the everyday use of these plants for medicine, construction, food and fiber. Meals B,L,D Posada Amazonas

Day 8 - Posada Amazonas
A full and exciting day reveals the diverse eco-systems of the jungle. Visit a clay lick to see flocks of brilliantly-colored macaws, and hike to Tres Chimbadas Lake for a canoe trip in search of giant river otters, turtles and wading birds. You’re invited for a pre-lunch meditation to strengthen mental, spiritual and physical harmony. Then join your guide to find the giant Ceiba tree, endowed with mythical status by many cultures. The imposing presence of this tree in the remote silence of the forest is indeed a powerful experience for many. Meals B,L,D

Day 9 - Posada Amazonas / Lima
Return downriver; fly to Lima#WHS# and transfer to your first class hotel, located in the inviting seaside district of Miraflores.
